It’s come down to these last few hours. Storyhive will be closing its digital shorts voting soon, and Telus Optik will determine the top digital shorts projects in Alberta and BC.

A few extra votes could be all it takes to get PsyBorgs to the Banff World Media Conference, where they can pitch this idea and hopefully secure a future for the PsyBorgs universe.

We’re sharing some behind the scenes looks at the show to encourage your fandom, to encourage your continued support of this amazing hometown project, and to encourage you to get out to the PsyBorgs live event in Calgary TONIGHT. Calgary is constantly underestimated in the creative community, and it’s wonderful to see something this weird and unique rising to the top. Let’s keep it going!

You can vote for PsyBorgs on their Storyhive website.

PSYBORGS BTS 5

Darryl Jordan is the kind of evil mastermind that makes time to get to know his henchmen.

PSYBORGS BTS 2

The ever-upbeat Nick Collins takes precautions against action set-piece nipple chafe.

If you’re actually in Calgary, get out of your house tonight and get to LIVEBORGS! A once in a lifetime event, PsyBorgs will be screening LIVE on the big screen at the Plaza theatre. Joining the honorary PsyBorgs on stage is sketch comedy group “The Late Late Breakfast Show”

You can expect: Door prizes, music, comedy, & exclusive PsyBorgs action that you won’t get anywhere else. Mix and mingle with the cast and creators as you get your borg on.

7:00 PM
Tickets: $12 at the door / $10 with food donation.

PSYBORGS RULE

They worked outside in a Calgary winter. They deserve your votes.

PSYBORGS BTS 4

Nick Haywood looking rightly satisfied at a job well done.

If you really want to support PsyBorgs, try following their Twitter and Facebook. Executives look at social media followings as a metric for audience support these days, so simple things like hitting that “follow” or “like” button DO have real world consequences.

ADDED BONUS:

Songwriter and Psyborg Evan Rothery has posted his Psyborg’s theme song, “Shut Up and Fight!” Add this track to your running playlist and watch as Evan’s pulsing beats take you that extra mile.
