Born In Prague, Jan arrived in Canada 1969. Studied Fine Art and Landscape Architecture in Ontario.

Jan works mostly in Oils andAcrylics  and likes to paint in deep contrast of light and dark.Strong sunshine is obvious in his painting. He loves to paint landscapes and the Rocky Mountains.  A Member of the Calgary Sketch Club since 1979.
