Aston Martin Virage – Chris Nixon – Osprey

The Aston Martin Virage was introduced in 1988 as a replacement for the limited-production V8 Vantage. It was produced until 2000, with a total of 1,050 Virages built. This is a nice, leather bound copy of of  company record of the design and development of the Aston Martin Virage car. 160pp. Colour photos throughout. Near fine.

The Virage was a grand tourer with a hand-built, all-aluminum 5.3-liter V8 engine producing around 330 horsepower. It also featured a modern chassis with high-performance suspension and brakes, marking a significant departure from previous Aston Martin designs.

The early 1990s saw several updates to the Virage, including the introduction of the V8-powered Virage Volante convertible and the Vantage-tuned Virage Vantage. The latter had a 5.3-liter engine producing 550 horsepower and could reach a top speed of 186 mph.

The Virage remains a sought-after classic car today, prized for its blend of elegant design and high performance.
