Cristina Monet-Palaci, known simply as Cristina, was an American singer, writer, and comics creator. She gained notoriety in the late 1970s and early 1980s with her witty lyrics and provocative onstage persona. Christina’s debut record was released on Ze Records in 1980. The album featured witty and satirical songs written by Cristina and a range of collaborators, including James Chance, August Darnell, and Kid Creole.
