Did you know about ghost cars and ghost holes?

A ghost car is another name for an unmarked police car. Used to be they were just the same old thing just not painted. Now they seem to come in all sorts of makes and models.

In the drilling business a ghost hole can be an unintentionally drilled (read unwanted) hole that is created when reaming particularly hard bridges in a deviated wellbore. Instead of cleaning out the bridge(s) in the old hole a new hole is created. That is why, if you can, you should keep directional monitoring tools in the string when you are making clean out trips.
