Blind Tiger Comedy, the young turks shaking up Vancouver’s improv scene, have put together the school’s very first long-form improv team. After months spent scouring their vast talent pool, the wheat (good) has been cut from the chaff (bad). It makes Caotica extremely proud to announce that our very own special guy Shane McLean is a piece of that wheat (good).
How Shane managed to work his way into such a talented group of people as this, we’ll never know. All we know is not to look a gift horse in the mouth. He’s in there now and that’s score one for all of us here. Good luck to the team, and here’s hoping that YUKON GHOST may never die.
From the desks/papyrus/calligraphy sets of the blind tigers themselves:
“BLIND TIGER COMEDY IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE OUR FIRST-EVER HOUSE TEAM, YUKON GHOST.
After a 2014 full of firsts, we’re kicking off 2015 with another: on February 6, our first house team will debut at Little Mountain Gallery. We say debut, but these long form improvisers have been featured on BTC shows for over a year. Drew Clarke, Scott McLean, Jenny Rube, Shane McLean, Del Hajipour, and Malcolm McLeod will be directed by Aaron Read.
We will announce more info on the team’s first shows as the semester gets rolling, but for now congratulations to the school’s first house team members!”
