Did you know about case hardened?
Case hardened steel is a low carbon steel that has carbon added to the outer surface of the steel to make it harder. It is less complicated than hardening and tempering.

Barlon is case hardened as well, formed in ’82 and coming up on year 33 it hasn’t been carbon it has been what we do: drilling, completions, work overs and abandonments.
